Come along to celebrate the opening of Enough? Enough! ENOUGH and to hear from artists Kara Wood, Raquel Ormella and Zoe Brand, as they discuss their respective practices and reflect on the nature of personal, social and political dissent in their work and in the exhibition.
When does patience run out? When does silence become complicity? When is enough finally enough? This powerful exhibition brings together three nationally recognised artists to explore the nature of labour, activism, and social commentary through the intersecting practices of contemporary ceramics, art and design. Working across ceramics, textiles and wearable art, featured artists Kara Wood, Raquel Ormella and Zoe Brand, interrogate social and political systems, individual and communal action, political consciousness and the slippages of language that shape our understanding of power and protest.
More than an exhibition, Enough? Enough! ENOUGH is an invitation to consider where we stand, what we’re willing to tolerate and how art, craft and design can give form to our collective yearning for change.
