Artmaking for YOU offers an inclusive, therapeutic artmaking workshop that explores creativity as an act of dissent. Bringing people together through an accessible group session and supportive online community, the program uses collaborative artmaking to promote connection, wellbeing and shared expression.

Susan Hey (b. 1959 Canberra, Australia) is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist based in Canberra. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Curtain University and a Master of Art Therapy from Western Sydney University. Her research-informed practice integrates painting, encaustic processes, textiles and performance video, alongside ongoing professional work in art therapy.
Susan has presented solo exhibitions at Rusten House Art Gallery and the CSIRO Discovery Gallery, with additional exhibitions at Tuggeranong Arts Centre, Mcleay Valley Community Art Gallery and Wagga Wagga Art Gallery. Her work is represented in major public and private collections including the Canberra Institute of Technology, CSIRO Discovery Centre and ACT Electricity and Water. Susan has participated in the New York Affordable Art Fair Digital Projection and received a Highly Commended award in the Empire Global Prize. She has delivered workshops, artist talks and community programs, contributing to ongoing dialogues at the intersection of art, ecology and contemplative practice.
