In a world of automated perfection, DESIGN DEVIATION is the celebration of an intentional mistake. This exhibition showcases furniture pieces created by Designcraft employees where they have deliberately veered away from ‘best practices’ to find new aesthetics in unusual materials and ‘incorrect’ assembly. If it isn’t deviating, it’s just duplicating.

Established in 1994 by Managing Director Bob Fenderson, Designcraft is a Canberra-based manufacturer and supplier of premium commercial and residential furniture. From their purpose-built 4500 square metre factory and showroom in Hume, they deliver high quality, locally manufactured products to clients across Australia and internationally.
