Down and Out presents a series of intimate paintings by local artist Kate Stevens, reflecting upon 25 years of quite sustained artistic practice, maintained alongside the radical act of care required of single motherhood.
Civic Art Bureau has built a reputation for supporting artists whose work sits outside the comfortable boundaries of the commercial art world, and championing voices that have been silenced.
