Heart, Head and Hand (1979) is a 20-minute documentary featuring scenes from the life and work of potter Peter Rushforth. “This film shows how Rushforth’s philosophy and strong belief in craft as a way of life has reached all those with whom he had been in contact, and the respect and admiration in which he is held both personally and professionally by students, colleagues and friends.” A Busy Sort Of Bloke: Harold Hughan (1979) is a short by Gillian Armstrong showing potter Harold Hughan at work, discussing the objectives of his pieces.
The screening with be followed by drinks with the new Craft Australia board.

Craft Australia began as the Craft Association of Australia in 1964. After it was defunded in 2011, World Crafts Council Australia was established to revive a national platform for Australia that opened international opportunities. Its reach has broadened now and it is reverting to Craft Australia to help amplify the voice of crafts in Australia and overseas.
