  • Alice van Meurs is the designer and maker behind the independent fashion label EDITION. A recurring collaborator with artist Sarrita King (Gurindji Waanyi), Alice has brought their shared vision to some of Australia's most celebrated fashion stages — presenting collections at the Melbourne Fashion Festival in March 2025 and Melbourne Fashion Week in October of the same year. The year prior, their work travelled to Darwin for Country to Couture, a milestone that followed an even broader form of recognition: the Kluge-Ruhe Art Museum in the United States acquiring four EDITION pieces for its collection in 2024.

From 2020 to 2023, she worked closely with the Ikuntji Artists, resulting in the Ikuntji Style exhibition in Brisbane and a collection of one-of-a-kind garments. Earlier still, in 2017 and 2018, she travelled to Seoul as part of the Australia Korea Emerging Designer Program, exchanging ideas and craft with Korean designers on an international stage.
