Canberra Spinners and Weavers present 60 Years of Dissent, a celebration of six decades of the organisation and its enduring contribution to fibre arts practice in Canberra. The exhibition showcases the work of current members alongside historical displays of spinning and weaving equipment, diaries, workbooks and designs, offering visitors a rich insight into the craft traditions that have defined the group across 60 years.

Works will be available for purchase across spinning, knitting and weaving practices and demonstrations will be offered throughout the event.

Don't miss the Plant Sensibilia Machine, a large-scale hand-operated textile dyeing device running in conjunction with the open studio as part of the Living City: People, Plants and Place program.
